Process: Creating a Dimensional Constraint Between Elements
1. Select Insert Constraint Constraint Creation Constraint.
2. In the Graphics window, pick the first element.
3. Pick the second element.
4. Click the location in the Graphics window to place the dimension.

Process: Creating an Angular Dimension
1. Select Insert Constraint Constraint Creation Constraint.
2. In the Graphics window, pick the first linear element.
3. Pick the second linear element.
4. Click the location in the Graphics window to place the dimension. Where you pick will influence which angular quadrant the dimension creates.

Options
Constraints
Lets you create dimensional constraints on sketch geometry. The objects you pick determine which type of dimension can be created.

Tips
• When you pick an arc, CATIA automatically creates a radius dimension. When you pick a circle, CATIA creates a diameter dimension. To swap between radius and diameter, right-click and select Radius or Diameter from the pop-up menu.
