Transformations - More Options

Options
Duplicate Mode

This option is commonly used when translating, rotating, and scaling geometry. Activate this option to copy the original geometry to the new location and deactivate it to move the original geometry.

Constraint Duplication

This functionality is common when translating, rotating and scaling geometry, though each dialog uses a different phrase for activation. The option is only available when
Duplicate Mode is active; it copies the constraints from the original geometry to the new instances.

Conservation of the constraints
Copies the constraints to the new instances when scaling.
Constraint Conservation
Copies the constraints to the new instances when rotating,
Keep internal constraints
Copies the constraints that exist among the selected elements when translating.
Keep external constraints
Copies the existing constraints from the selected elements to other sketcher elements or references.

Snap Mode
Limits the transformation to certain set values. To modify the step value, drag the cursor over the value text box, right-click to display the pop-up menu, and then modify the step size.

Propagation Method
When offsetting geometry there are three options available when picking geometry: No Propagation, Tangent Propagation, and Point Propagation.

No Propagation
Offsets only the selected geometry.
Tangent Propagation
Offsets the selected geometry and any geometry connected to it by tangent curves.

Point Propagation
Offsets the selected geometry and any geometry connected to it.

Both Side Offset
Offsets curves on both sides of the original.
